New years eve this year was celebrated with a group from MHF playing the standard fast chukkas at home and then grabbing a pony and heading off for a long hack to the local. After some light refreshment (thanks to The Fox at Matching Tye) the group followed the bridlepaths on an exhilarating ride, getting home just in time to avoid the hail storm.
New years day saw a significantly more subdued bunch playing chukkas although no amount "tiredness" seemed to affect the enjoyment had by all. Special thanks go to the grooms who have persevered through "tiredness" over this festive season to make sure that the horses are still all ready on time!

Ed is out in Pakistan playing 8 goal and loving every minute - after suffering a loss in the first game, he and the team have come back fighting and won all 4 subsequent games!
